Integrity: We will be reliable, dependable and can be counted on to keep promises. We will do what we say and say what we do.

Compassion: We will seek to understand the needs, thoughts and feelings of the individual and will provide spiritual tools to deal with and alleviate unhealthy emotions and situations.

Confidentiality: We will maintain strict confidentiality in the relationship between a chaplain and an individual. No information would be disclosed under any circumstance to the individual’s employer, a relative, child or spouse without the explicit and written permission of the individual. In cases when individuals share with us an intent to harm themselves or someone else we are obligated by law to alert the authorities.

Honesty: We will strive to be genuine, open and honest in all relationships.

Respect: We will respect human life, dignity and the rights of everyone no matter their religious, educational, racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Humility: We exist for the people we serve (partners, employees, volunteers, vendors and our community).

Teamwork: We will maintain a cooperative and unselfish spirit in our working relationships and support the efforts and goals of our partners.

Stewardship: We will strive to use wisely and prudently the resources with which we have been entrusted.

Accountability: Every person is responsible for his or her actions and accountable to God. In order to achieve our goals each of us will accept individual accountability for how we carry out our responsibilities as well as quickly acknowledge when we need assistance and seek out appropriate guidance.

Ministry: We accept the call of being ministers to the marketplace, the extensions of the hands of Christ to those with whom we come in contact.
